Carne asada (cooked, sliced)
Telera rolls
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
1 small avocado, mashed
1 vine-ripened tomato, thinly sliced
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup crumbled cotija cheese
Slices of pickled jalapeños
1 cup refried beans (optional)
Directions
Spread mashed avocado on the top halves of telera rolls; spread refried beans on the bottoms.
Layer carne asada on the bottom buns, then add tomato, red onion, iceberg lettuce, cotija, and pickled jalapeños.
Press the top buns on. Serve with fresh La Costeña jalapeños and carrots.
